Dreaming of Dreaming of Alice

Print Series on Alice in Wonderland

When I read the classic book Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll again a few years ago, I realised something  I hadn't as a child. The book translates dream logic extremely well into a narrative. I then went on to research the science behind dreams and compared it to the book. I wasn't  the first to notice of course, but most of the attention the book is still getting is focused in other directions. The subject stayed with me for a while and lead me to several pictures. Some of them were done in an illustration class with Raphael Urwiller from Icinori in 2022 an others in a main semester project with Prof. Georg Barber and Tobias Jacob in 2023 in Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle.
